About the Hooded Community Wiki
A community-owned, Hooded-hosted knowledge base for foreskin restoration and intact anatomy — built collaboratively, maintained editorially, and open to everyone.
Why this exists
The r/foreskin_restoration subreddit's wiki is written in Reddit markdown — a format its own mod team describes as cumbersome and hostile to good communication. Years of institutional knowledge live in posts, comment threads, and a wiki that hasn't been comprehensively updated in years. A brand-new restorer arriving today faces a significant navigation burden before finding reliable, structured information.
The Hooded Community Wiki exists to solve that problem permanently. It gives the community a home for its collective knowledge that is properly structured, beautifully designed, evidence-labeled, and actively maintained — without removing anything from the subreddit or positioning Hooded as a replacement for community discussion.
What this is not
The wiki is not a Hooded marketing property. It does not promote Hooded products, link to Hooded's paid course, or function as a conversion funnel. The only Hooded branding is the logo in the header — confirming authorship and hosting — and a brief footer attribution. Content is community-authored and editorially independent from Hooded's commercial interests.
The wiki is not a replacement for the subreddit. Discussion, personal experience sharing, and peer support happen on Reddit. The wiki documents what the community knows; the subreddit is where the community lives.
Nothing on this wiki constitutes medical advice. Evidence tiers are labeled clearly on every article — always read them.
How evidence is labeled
Every factual claim in the wiki carries one of four evidence tier labels so you always know what you're reading and how to weigh it.
Governance
The wiki is governed by a layered team with clearly defined roles and authorities.
